jjdelc @xbito this is just me holding the camera still with a bit of zoom, lots of crop and manual focus. Binoculars should get you a long way, but the tiny phone sensor might be your weak link.

I bought a tripod, binoculars and an adapter for my phone. My pictures are far from good yet though. Need something more powerful and filters!
