If you've upgraded to Firefox 14 you may have noticed that the Awesomebar (URL bar) autofills the URL you're typing with a domain and not necessarily the first URL suggestion.

To disable it, go to [about:config](about:config) (as always) and filter for:

browser.urlbar.autoFill

Set it to False and you'll have your regular Firefox Awesome bar behavior.
